We believe that men, women and children were born to have a relationship with God. However, there is a gulf that separates us from knowing Him personally and nothing we can do can bridge that gulf. God so loved us that He wasn’t content to let that situation continue so He devised a plan to reinstate the relationship between us and Him.

He had a dearly loved son, Jesus Christ and He sent Jesus to earth to show us how we can have a deep personal relationship with God.

The problem was God had set conditions for us to be reunited with Him and that entailed a life being exchanged in our place. So, Jesus gave His life in our place so that we can be reunited with God.

We believe God is a loving Father – not the remote, austere deity that He is sometimes portrayed and we can have a close, meaningful bond with Him.

God is a God of grace which means we do not have to try and earn His love or acceptance. As individuals we have always been loved by God for, He is a God of love. There is nothing we can do to make Him love us more or to make Him love us less.

God the Father is made known to us through accepting the teachings of His Son Jesus by believing what Jesus said we can have a wonderful life with God. The Holy Spirit the third person of God who has been given to help us to understand the writings in the bible and aid us in our Christian walk.

We believe that the church should reflect who God is and through gathering with like-minded Christian people we can find strength, companionship and partnership in our faith. We can come to God whenever we want or have need to, confident He will accept us as we are. We don’t have to put any airs or graces on as He knows all about us already.

We can enjoy His presence and worship Him for who He is and for what He has done in our lives.
